The 2014 Walkable Bikeable Delaware Summit takes place on May 1st, 2014 in Dover, DE
There’s so much to love about the great state of Delaware that including them all in one little web article is a daunting task. And while the treasured First State does indeed shine brilliantly in the “much to be offered” department, even the finest silver can sometimes develops bit of tarnish.
For example, a recent Gallup Survey for TIME magazine found Delaware to be the #1 state in America where its citizens are least likely to take exercising seriously. Bike Delaware (an independent, non-government, member-supported non-profit advocacy organization with a mission to make bicycling a safe, convenient and fun transportation option in Delaware) wants that unenviable status to change.
Working together with The American Heart Association, the Delaware Department of Transportation, Delaware Greenways and Sussex Outdoors, Bike Delaware will host the 2014 Walkable Bikeable Delaware Summit on May 1 in Dover. This fun and free event is open to the public, but registration is needed.
It’s time to put down the remote, rise from the sofa and to take exercising seriously in the great First State of Delaware!
